Walker better not be the closer next year, if he's still even on the team.

Edit- didn't mean to quote you to make this post

Verlander said he couldn't watch the 9th today because of Walker lmao. Dude screwed over JV so many times this season.

Worst error I seen in all my life watching baseball, and people still defend this guy
I noticed that Flores was in thre DH spot instead of Eldridge yesterday. I like Flores but he's not part of our future. Let Eldridge bat against LH pitching. What difference is it going to make as far as the outcome of the season. I just can't understand why Melvin is not letting him play every game. Maybe it's a decision coming from above Melvin.

My guess management is using this as a farewell to Flores.

That said, Melvin needs to be let go.

Great but is that really necessary. Maybe so but I still don't understand the reluctance to let Eldridge bat against LH pitching. His numbers in AAA were better than they were against RH pitching.
Adames did it

Pretty awesome. Wille Mac award winner and hits 30 HRs to break the streak. Great attitude. He also played the most games at SS in a season for the giants in like 80 years or something
Melvin fired

He lived up to his reputation unfortunately, never maximizing his teams talent. He never impressed me and had a really forgettable tenure. Wish him well…

So who they going to hire that can turn the team around. I hope they don't trey and rehire Bochy. He was great when he was here but you can't go back to your former love. Hire some new blood.

Regrettably, it was absolutely necessary. Like him as a human being, not the manager. He may have a vast knowledge of the game, not for this era and defiantly not for this team. His SD experience with very similar to the Giants team is clearly telling. Look at SD with him and right after he left, despite IMO having more talented team while he was there. Certainly, pitching wise. Hope the Giants will follow SD path into the playoffs after he is gone.

I would consider re-hiring Kapler. Quite clearly the scapegoat, he always got the most out of mediocre talent. Still young, always put together a great coaching staff.

Prob not gonna happen, optics and what not.

I have heard Mark DeRosas name thrown around. I wish he had hired Stephen Vogt.

I don't care who it is, I would to get Kevin Cash from Tampa
