I hope Eldridge can get a couple hits before the season ends. So far in 10 plate appearances he has 5 SO and 1 BB. He's hit the ball pretty hard a couple times. It would be nice if he can finish the season with a BA. No reason to not play him against LH pitching. With 8 games left the Giants have 2 teams in front of them for the wild card spot. Not likely that they will pass them.

Next season is going to be interesting ... I know Buster puts the psychology of the clubhouse as very important ... the current vets seem to be working out well, but I wonder what changes he will make both to the roster and to the staff considering that the mentality of this team has had some major dips this year.

Looks like Devers will have to break the 30 HR curse next year. Adames is choking it away.

Dam I hate being right but I been saying this all season about Lee and also said the dodgers would be the reason why the giants would not be a wildcard down the stretch when they were on their winning streak, dodgers just own the s**t out of the giants since their last ws win
Lol man, those quotes from me were being sarcastic though. After looking at the entire season, you seriously would want them to release Lee? He is definitely not one of the big issues with this team. Sure, he could be better, and hopefully he will be. He still was kind of like a rookie this year and he had a good season overall

Maybe 2-3 times since 2014, gotta be extremely low, every time they play LA they seem to lose

I just think we can do better at that position, but it is what it is, he ain't going anywhere with that contract nor does anybody want him, was a desperate attempt by farcrap when they couldn't sign anyone good , was a big reach

He's been good for a rookie imo. The team has far bigger issues right now.

Lee isn't the problem. I expected him to be more off a threat to steal but he only had 10 this year nd 2 last year. Been caught 5 times. Hard to figure since he obviously has the speed. I also want hm to be a more consistenet contact hitter. When he goes on one of his hot streak it's because he's hitting to all fields. When he starts to struggle it looks like he's trying to hit the long ball. His defense is fine. No issues there.
The big need in the off season is bullpen help. They need a reliable closer and setup guy.

It's amazing how a great catcher Buster was, yet he signs garbage catchers like Huff, Stassi and Knizner

Eldridge is playing 1st base today. He's about the only reason to watch now.. Just to see how he does.

What all star catchers would you have signed instead?

Kyle Higashioka, Danny Janson and Carson Kelly were all free agents this past offseason. Not All Star, but at least MLB level players.
