2025 San Francisco Giants Season Thread

Accidentally posted this in the Warriors thread last night, so moving it here now...

Bailey looked completely lost tonight. His defense hasn't been very good so far in this early season either.

he put on hella wieght in the offseason... i hope he's not hindered by that.
Buried within the SF Gate article is the truth: "Even with the price cut, the cost of beer at Oracle Park is still not cheap." This should have been the lead, not the last line of the story.

Landon Roupp was good last night out of the pen. His looking K to mookie was nasty. He's looking like a weapon. I thought he would be a starter, I am surprised he's in the pen but so far so good. I'm not mad at him being the long man.

yes, he's been impressive for sure...

He has already had a really bad passed ball and his footwork on Mookie's stolen base last night was simply awful.

I can tolerate a mediocre hitter if he is playing close to gold glove caliber defense.

His defense has been terrible. Get in front of the damn ball!
Dodgers getting Buehler back, May back, Keyshaw back

ohtani pitching next year

we are f**ked
Until further notice, the Dodgers continue to be the class of the division. Will never give up hope for the Giants, though. Fuc% the Dodgers & their spending (though have to give them credit over the years for drafting/developing good talent - to either contribute or be valuable tradable assets).

Development of valuable tradable assets has nothing to do with this roster. Betts-FA, Freeman-FA, Ohtani-FA, Theoscar Hernandez-FA, Glasnow-FA, Paxon-FA, Yamamoto-FA
They've used the only sport that doesn't have the salary cap and bought the superstar team piece by piece. And made baseball predictable. Braves are the team that developed the players and I pray they or someone out of nowhere like AZ last year will put kibosh on this efing circus crap. It's like the Warriors when KD joined the 73-win team and the next three years became the Warriors expected every regular season game winning margin to be over 30 points. What was so exciting to watch the Warriors' starters hitting the bench by the end of the 3rd quarter.
We suck again!
