Webb was a better pitcher by postseason of 2021. He was 10-0 and hadn't lost since May. He crushed the Dodgers.

there is a dif between maintaining your rotation, and changing it. if you look at 2021, Webb started game 162 and game 1 of postseason, so we went out of our way to get him the ball in g1

that's not what happened with Zito

Side note on Logan's contract:

Logan Webb's contract includes nearly half a million in donations to the Giants Community Fund. He said it will be directed toward fentanyl awareness. His cousin died from it last year and he has spoken at schools about fentanyl awareness ever since.
