Been an issue under Low for years now. Flick will fix it, given how much he juiced the scoring at Bayern

Ya, but I'm not surprised there. I think they can still bounce back and play well. France, not only has a great offense, but their defense might be better. Two huge and fast as hell CBs, and basically replicating the late 90s / 2000s midfield with Pogba, Rabiot, and Kante. It's not quite Viera, Petite, and Makelele, but close.

France's defense was rock solid. Germany's midfielders were unable to penetrate vertically. Every pass was to the sides, either right or to the left side (mostly to the right side) with nothing to show. Another thing that I noticed, was the spaces that were open between the midfielders and the forwards for Germany. Huge gaps and no one to occupy it. Every pass was intercepted. Wide open gaps, no wonder those two middle backs for France looked so good. Also, Mpabbe's speed was no match to those German defenders. How many times did he burn them on the left side.

Split loyalties tonight my dad's Scottish so would be ok with a draw or even a Scotland win since England will likely beat the Czech Republic to win the group anyway.
