Yeah. For multiple reasons.

1- Our identity is running small. Wiseman doesnt fit that.

2- Wiseman will probably be good by 2023 or 2024. Not willing to waste 3 more years of Splash and Dray.

3- Wiseman is our best trade asset. Trading Oubre wont really get us anything. He is expiring. While he is desired, he still wouldnt fetch much of a return for a couple month rental. Would much rather re-sign him.

I am 10000% on board with not making a trade. I dont want to make a move just for the sake of making a move. I wasnt even really truly on board with a George Hill trade.

For what? This year or next? Do you want to be a seller or buyer? I wouldnt make a trade just for the sake of making one.

Moving Oubre makes sense but I dont think they will do that to Steph. They still want to make the playoffs and if you deal Oubre off they probably wont.

Chriss traded to the Spurs.

Wanamaker to the Hornets.

We got a player back from SA but both moves were mainly receiving money back.

Not happy about the Chriss trade, although the possibility of resigning him in the offseason is there considering how much he loved Golden State and the coaches loving him.

This opens up (2) roster spots to either bring in Lin or potentially use our DPE on a player getting bought out (Aldridge, Drummond?)

I agree Jeff. I would have liked to have Chriss. Always liked his upside and attitude. What I dont understand is why SA would trade for him when he cant play at all this year and will be an UFA in the off season.
