"With Myers' departure, Warriors owner Joe Lacob is expected to seek more prominent roles for his son, Kirk, an executive VP of Basketball Operations, and VP of Basketball Operations Mike Dunleavy Jr."

Don't think Kerr is leaving when he said he enjoys coaching this team and living in the Bay Area. I can see him as a popovich even staying after the championships

The nepotism makes me a little nervous.

Lacob is going to get booed again if he f***k this up. His sons are not the answer, nor is Dunleavy.

Not sure about Dunleavy but there are definitely better options out there than his son.
Thanks for the memories, Bob.
What is Jurry up to?

How do you know that Dunleavy isnt the answer. I would much rather have him than see Lacob give the title to his kid and then make all the decisions himself. That sounds way too similar to Jerry Jones and the Cowboys.

Anyone who boos Lacob is an idiot. 4 titles and willing to spend his money makes him a Hall of Fame owner.

Ya if he tries to run this like a a venture capitalist firm he'll sink it into the ground

Same. I don't like it. No way he is the most qualified person they can find.

We need a new perspective, I appreciate Bob Myers and what he has done but I think change is good in this scenario. Going to be a tough transition period.
