They can't be dead because if a website shuts down another one pops up. And most have HD video. Only issue is you have to refresh the page sometimes.

For the people using stream services. When you are outside your home area do you still get the networks (CBS, NBC, ABC, FOX)? Are they still the local channels from your home area or only get the ones from the area you are currently in?

Reason I ask is that North Dakota doesn't have a CBS station. I have to pick a zip code from elsewhere to get it but if they see I'm streaming in ND will I not continue to get the CBS from the place I use as my home zip code?

Had it a few weeks now. Not perfect but pretty good. It's annoying every once in awhile when internet blips for whatever reason and I miss 5 secs of the show. Hasn't happened much though.

I do actively dislike how the Roku remote controls work. What button to hit to just go back to watching my show from the guide doesn't make sense (still not sure which it is). Little things like that annoy me but I'll figure them out.

I do love that I can have 5 streams at once with individual profiles and individual DVRs. I shared it with my parents since they didn't have cable. Affects me none but they are thrilled.

Nah they already setup a site outside of Reddit for when the streams sub inevitably gets closed. I've never had trouble finding a good stream on the go if I was out somewhere.
