Love Gasol signing - we needed a stretch 5 and he's such a terrific passer. Kuz and Caruso are excellent cutters and Gasol will def find them on more than a few occasions. He's also a great great defender. Not athletic - but knows where to be. I'd 100% take him over Dwight!

Last year's roster had a lot of versatility - but this year is on another level.

Vogel can play so many guys at 5:

Correction:

Read Lakers will keep McKinnie too. So that's 12 guys on the roster already. Will likely leave 1 open for buyout market.

Would love Dudley back.
Won't mind Cacok for that 14th spot.

Good point about gasol and the spacing he is going to create. I don't mean this as a knock to Dwight bc what he gave on energy alone off the bench was huge for us primarily during regular season. He earned that ring no doubt, but Gasol in the framework of our offense is a better fit even at this point in his career. And he'll do plenty to help our last place FG %. If we get better at free throws we love what 3-4 less games? It was staggering how bad we were in that aspect and how many points we threw away.

Haha his arms are so long too he's such a sneaky good finisher. And on defense he's a nightmare he can rip/tip balls offensive players wouldn't imagine him getting too. Seriously the defensive identity pelinka has built cannot be understated.

Seriously - FT shooting is a joke. Hopefully, with Dwight, Rondo, McGee out and addition of Gasol, Schroeder and Montrez (shot 66% last year) Lakers will be a lot better.

Lebron really needs to shoot in the mid 70s and there is no reason for for Kuz and KCP to shoot under 80.

It's so annoying when they leave so many points at the ft line.
