You are calling an Ajax victory? I could get behind that. Too bad the refs and UEFA won't let it happen.
I am. That's my upset pick.
You are probably right though, UEFA won't let Ronaldo lose.

I consider myself a very lucky fan. I live in a time where I got to watch most of Jordan's games... most of Rice's games... and now most of Messi's games. Nothing but GOATS!!!!!

Good documentary on the old school vibe of 80's/90's football when a club like wimbledon really rose from the 4th division to the premier league

It's good but it's not the best, here's a complication of chipped goals. I think a fair few beat it

Great video. Chips are always difficult...impossible to say which is the best ever but a few reasons why Messi's chip is up there:
1. It's off the pass coming towards him and he is running away from the goal. Pretty difficult to change the direction of the ball like that with perfect accuracy.
2. Goal keeper wasn't too far away from the goal-line and he wasn't too far off to one post. He was actually in perfect position.
3. ...and IMO...most importantly - imagining that a chip could actually work there was the best part of this. That's what shocked most fans, commentators, and ex-players. That was not a situation where even on the replay you could say - yea, I can see why he thought the chip could beat the goalie.

Whilst
whilst I agree it's diffufcult to get accuracy on the chip, I think running on to the ball with the pace on the ball from the pass makes it easier to get the speed required to beat the keeper as you would if he had decided to cross the ball first time from the pass. I much prefer seeing chips/lobs. Their is a clip on the video where Lampard scores a similar chip from a pass in the same area. My preference is a player making a spontaneous effort to chip where it may not necessarily be on or they have to generate their own power & accuracy to beat a keeper. There is a beckham one in the video from about 01 where he has to time his chip shot by hitting it on the half volley in a much more controlled effort to lob the keeper
