That's a big problem then. If he wants a max, Rockets would be dumb as hell to do it. If Paul is serious about winning a championship, he better do what it takes to get Lebron on this team.

the issue is that he wants a 5 year contract, and the cap hit in 2022 will be like 45 mil lol. i'm not doing that if im Hou, 3 years 100 mil would be the best offer.

He's too old and get hurts too much. But someone will max him out. Last payday for him, I don't blame him

Can't wait for LeBron and CP3 to sign with the Lakers,everyone will call them a title contender at first but by December LeBron fans will call Chris Paul washed and claim their hero has no help

What role would Ben Simmons play if Bron went to Philly? Simmons can't play off the ball, and Bron is at his best with the ball in his hands creating for his teammates.

Same as last season and let LeBron rest all season. Then LeBron only needs to play the finals and just sends Ben to the bench at that time.

That's not the point. Kyrie can shoot. Ben can't. He'd be a void off the ball allowing teams to slide the defense over and take away Bron's driving lanes.

Simmons, Saric, Embiid, Bron, Covington. One of them is gonna have to come of the bench, most likely Saric. Fultz will have to start, you need somebody to guard the other teams PG, but then you still have nobody who's gonna defend the other teams SG with such a big lineup. That team will make the finals, but I don't see it winning more than 1 or 2 games, unless Simmons and Fultz become good shooters.
