Pride? No. I'm just happy.

If my favorite TV character does something great, I'm not like "I feel so proud of Jon Snow! I've been a fan of his since Season 1! Take that haters!"

One of the more ridiculous comparisons I have ever heard in my entire life. Wow.

Dirk had a nice little squad though to be fair

Yup, even though it was no where near as good or young as the Heats

Bay Area Legend Brian Cardinal aka The Janitor got a ring before Lebron

Really think so? Who did the Heat have outside their big three? Maybe that's why JJ Barrea and Jason Terry were able to do what they did against the Heat? Maybe that's why Lebron was stifled defensively quite a bit especially in game 6? Speaking of the game 6 stats, Terry led the Mavs with 27 points and Jason Kidd led them with 8 assists.

Please stop. The Heat were heavy favorites against the Mavericks. But LeBron was outplayed by role players and then his fans went on to spit out this crazy narrative that the teams were close to even. They werent.

NBA fans do it more than anybody else honestly. Every era of basketball was garbage until 2015 if you ask them

So Joel Anthony, bibby, chalmers, Haslem, Miller are straight trash compared to Terry, Chandler, Stevenson, and Barrera (all these guys played more than 10 mpg).

Heatles was definitely favorites and that loss on Lebron resume is a pretty bad one. He played poorly.

But, Mavs were a damn good team too. Ppl act like that team wasn't very good. Defensively - they were great and versatile. They swept the Lakers that season (who were b2b defending champs and had home court) and limited Kobe to 17 points in each of the last two games of the series. They beat a super-talented OKC in 5 games. Both Lakers and OKC were big favorites against them as well and had Kobe and Durant on the roster.

Miami should have won that series...but Mavs deserve a lot of credit for winning it all that year. They were a f**kin' machine in the post-season.

Stop what? I'm not arguing for or against just contributing to the discussion that bay initiated. Btw, Dallas swept the regular season series against the Heat.

You wont hear that from me. Agreed, the Mavs were a damn good basketball team. But that doesnt mean they werent the heavy underdog.

People try to downplay how lopsided of a series it was supposed to be in favor of Miami, in effort to prop LeBron up. I am sorry if you arent one of those people when I assumed you were. Apologies.

LOLLLLL WOW. NBA Regular season means absolutely nothing in the playoffs...Celtics won the series 3-1 vs Miami that year, Bulls swept Miami, ask both those teams how their season ended. Or how about when the expansion Raptors blewout the 96 Bulls??! Point is Miami had no buisness losing to Dallas, they only did because LeBron got shutdown by JJ Barrera. LeBron fans need to stop making excuses and start holding their man accountable for his failures
