So primetime on CBS. At least it won't be buried on some obscure channel to start. I'll give it a look tonight.
Looks like to me Orlando the team to beat.

But rooting for memphis. Dontez Byrd was one of my WR sleepers last year

Don't the offenses in these new leagues usually suck hord?

Quick glance at the rosters and I only recognize like 2-3 players on any given team.

I think my team will be the Memphis Express for a few reasons.
  1. Mike Singletary Head Coach
  2. Pepper Johnson LB coach
  3. They got a 5'8" WR nicknamed Pig
  4. Team is probably named after FedEx

It looks pretty clear the SD Fleet is going to take the league in this first year. When you have a Mike Martz - Josh Johnson HC/QB combo, you're going to be tough to beat. :-)

I like how this league isn't considered a competitive league to the NFL; rather, the NFL is seemingly on board with it being a developmental league of sorts, kind of a "minor leagues" for the NFL.

Yeah it seems that the NFL is on board with this. This might end up working.
I do like that the NFL is on board with this, but really, what's the over under for how many of these guys actually take an NFL snap in the future?

A lot of former niners are playing in this league like Quinton Patton, Mike Purcell, Andrew Tiller

Yeah I think they were showing some clip from earlier when I saw that.

This already feels like an entertaining game.
