BS - "Clips would get Detroit's 1st rounder in this fake trade. —Detroit would get Cleveland's first rounder. —Cleveland keeps the Brooklyn pick but takes on major tax money. —Charlotte saves ungodly amounts of money and gets more white guys."

That is a tremendously bad trade for the Hornets. It's absolutely laughable. They trade 4 of their starters and get no draft picks and no stars. They just get a bunch of middling, borderline starters to straight up bench warmers who are mostly signed for multiple years.

Which is why Michael Jordan would probably approve it. That team is never gonna go anywhere.

Remember when ppl (mostly haters) thought CP3 and Harden can't play together at high level.

Lou Williams better be an All Star this year. 31 pts, 7 assists, and 10 steals tonight.

He's not going to make it.

I can easily see him getting one of the last two spots.

Hope he makes it. He has been simply amazing for last month or so. Deserves it.
I'd trade Nets pick to Clippers for DeAndre and Lou Williams, if I'm Cavs. That trade makes a lot of sense for both teams.

So he trades for a bunch of crappy multi-year deals? Look how much salary and how many years he's adding. Can't blow it up with those players. If he wants to blow it up he would target expiring contracts and draft picks. Not middling, expensive vets with multiple years left.

I was being sarcastic. It's an awful trade and Simmons' reasoning pretty much says,"f**k it." He wanted to do a 20 man trade in the trade machine and did so. Logic be damned.

Well there's one sentence we'll never hear on ESPN:
"We have a 20 player trade to announce in the NBA"

Hornets fan here as I live right here in Charlotte. I have to admit they a franchise that's on the same level as ineptitude as the browns, if not worse. We do not know how to tank, we don't know how to draft, we don't know how to sign players. It's extremely frustrating.. they sign an average journeyman like Batum to a max contract. Borderline average players big deals , trade a mid first rounder for Bellineli, reject Celtics trade of 6 picks just to move back 6 spots from 9 to 15, trade hawes(expiring contract to a backup in Plumlee making a lot more over 2-3 years). Now they want to get rid of best our only all star to get out of some of those contracts. This is not going to be a fix in an offseason or 2. If everything goes well, very good trade for kemba(as much as I like him he'll be 30 when we compete again) eat some of those contracts. Draft well, and not guys like MKG at 2 overall. Only draft pick they've hit on the last 5 years is kemba.. missed on a top of prospects like Booker, McCollum, D. Mitchell, Antetekounmpo, S. Adams, Gobert, Nurkic,(sp?) LaVine who were chosen in the next couple picks after our picks. They are TERRIBLE! Not sure if it's Jordsn overruling all their decisions but Cho needs to get canned ASAP. They need to do a deep cleaning like the Niners did this offseason. This team is the middle of the pack team the last few years and they've already peaked. Gotta blow it up and rebuild now . Sorry for the long post but I hate how these professionals can get paid so much and not know as much as a big fan. Batums huge contract, Boston rejected trade alone are things that should get you fired.
