You are a Warrior hater, that much is clear. There are plenty of Warrior fans here so obviously posters are not going to agree ... particularly while it is in the midst and emotions are high. Only thing I will say is this is not the exact same scenario as when LBJ left, but it is similar enough. Just because the Warriors were better when Durant joined is a pointless argument. One could say he would be stupid not to take advantage of that. However, to shout at the rain say this is the only reason is really a narrow view. Sure it had something to do with the decision, he is in his prime and wants to win now. But he also would get to do it on a team of players, many of which he knows and likes. In a system that seems like it would be the most fun to play in of any team in the entire NBA. In an area like the SF bay region (have you seen the videos of his view of the bay from his pad). Off court and post basketball interests and business movers and shakers are synonymous with this area of the country. Climate is temperate year around, it is culturally diverse and a very thought provoking place to live. You really don't think any of those things weighed into the decision?

I simply outlined the difference in circumstances, which there were, between the 2 players. I actually haven't once called out Durant personally on this board or the Warriors to be exact. To say LeBron's circumstances were the exact same as Durant's just isn't true. So it's not a pointless argument to say the Warriors have already been an established, powerhouse of a team before Durant got there. And that argument gets backed up when people all of a sudden want to proclaim Durant as the 'best player' in the world just because he's having a fantastic finals on an already stacked Warrior team.

Good to see Lebron not complain about the Warriors super team. He'd be a hypocrite if he did.

Anyone that has a chance to build a super team would do it in a heartbeat. GS took advantage of it just like Lebron did in 2010.
