You're right, no way to prove it. Fact is Cleveland won last year fair and square, in historic fashion. To blame it on a one game suspension like so many due is silly.

GS will get their revenge this year, although, it's a different team now with a new leader.

Their legendary offense couldn't score in 4th quarter of game 5 and game 7 because Cavs shut 'em down. Stop blaming it on injuries, refs and suspension.

You mean like you did the year before with the injuries to Kyrie and Love? You definitely used that one in several posts.

The Cavs defense was basically about leaving Barnes open for wide open 3s. It worked because HB was incredibly bad and if he had shot even a decent percentage the Cavs would have lost. I dont blame the refs like others but anyone who doesnt think the suspension was a huge factor is either blind, a Cavs fan, or a Warriors hater.

Actually, I didn't use that once the year before. I always said - injuries are part of game.

I used it this year only in response to ridiculous claims that someone who plays less than 10 minutes a game against Cavs was a factor. My point was - how can you whine about an injury to Bogut when Cavs had no Love and Irving the year before.

Yes, when one of the players is not hitting shots - it's smart to leave them open - unless they're a great shooter. That's a perfect strategy. If he had hit shots - they would have changed their defense. All you guys do is use IF IF IF.

Suspension was a factor in game 5...Not a factor in game 6 and definitely not in game 7 at home.

I guess - It's sad that you think a team that won 73 games isn't mentally strong enough to overcome an injury to a player who hardly played and 1 game suspension while leading 3-1 with 2 home games.

LOL I am not going to go back to the thread to try and find every post but I know you mentioned it more the injuries to Kyrie and Love more than once. I actually dont have an issue with it.. it did play a factor.

I do not blame the refs, I agree the Warriors should have won Game 7 at home ( no excuses), and I give credit for the Cavs going in and winning that game. But............

Anyone who doesnt think the suspension to Draymond was a huge factor is just wrong and naive. It basically gave the Cavs game 5, gave them momentum in the series (no way the Dubs were going to win game 6 in Cleveland) and set it up for a winner take all in game 7. This is so obvious that I just cannot see anyone disputing this. It clearly had more impact than just one game.

Tell me.. if the situation was reversed, Lebron had been suspended, and the Warriors had won.... do you not think Lebron missing a game would have been a huge factor? Of COURSE it would be.

Draymond isn't Lebron. Cavs won 2 games without Kyrie and Love in 2015...they also won game 3 without Kevin Love last year. And, I said it over and over - injuries are part of the game. It's on Love and Kyrie to stay healthy.

Warriors were up 3-1 with 2 home games. They didn't have draymond for ONE game. It's silly to use Draymond's suspension as an excuse for Warriors loss in the series.

You have to take back momentum from game to game. Cavs took the momentum back in game 3 and Warriors took it back in game 4. That's why it's a 7 game series and you have 2-2-1-1-1 format.

Anyway, as far as the series goes this year - I think Warriors are gonna f**k up the Cavs this year.

Cavs will need to add a 2 way piece to make a difference in future. Maybe...Pacers are desperate to trade PG for Kevin Love...rather than lose him for nothing next summer lool

But, Warriors too good.
The Warriors were also suppose to be "too good" last year

Cavs have the best player and guard. Warriors the best team

Will Durants soft ass be able to handle the pressure?

No Draymond isnt Lebron but he is still the MVP of the Warriors. Losing him in Game 5 changed the entire momentum of the series whether you want to acknowledge it. Anyone who understands how momentum works would know how key game 5 was. Anyway, you will never admit this so there is no point in debating this with you

If these are your takes, I am starting to doubt your handle ... lol. Best guard ... seriously? At best it is a push, but personally I don't think it is close. And the next time Irving plays defense will be the first time. And he does not have near the gravity that Curry does (the ability to tilt the court).

Durant averaged 30 ppg on 65% TS in his first trip to the finals (against a LBJ team), and he was only 23 I think. A lot better team / talent around him now. If you are banking on KD being a weak link in this series, prepare to be disappointed.

And the difference between last year and this year from a Warrior perspective is night and day ... even if they did not have Durant I would say this. They were great last year in the regular season, they were gassed and dinged up all post season. Not to mention coming off a killer WCF, while Cleveland did their normal walk through the cakes to get there.

Draymond is not the MVP of Warriors.

I understand how momentum works. Any player/coach who has ever won anything in NBA will tell you...momentum doesn't translate from game to game.

You obviously must not follow the Warriors very closely. The ONE guy that they cant afford to lose and win is Draymond. If they lose Steph they can still get scoring and have a chance. They proved that last year against Portland and Houston. They also showed they can win a lot of games without Durant. Without Draymond they lose their best defender, best rebounder, and best passer. Trust me, people who watch every Warriors game know who the real MVP of the Warriors is. People who dont think its Steph or KD because they are the leading scorers.

LeCry knows it. Cried to the league for his finals game suspension

Was game 3 not key? Cavs won that with a chance to even it up game 4 just like game 5 and 6 but GS had no issues bouncing back from their game 3 loss with a win. They had that same opportunity game 6...

Of course they had the opportunity but a lot changed after the Game 5 win. Cleveland got confidence, they suddenly had hope, and and momentum. Well maybe not momentum since 4ML has surveyed every player and coach who has ever won a title and I guess momentum doesnt carry over. LMAO.

We can debate this forever but I believe Draymond's suspension changed everything in the series. Warriors fans believe this. Cavs and Lebron homers dont. Just the way it is.

Im a huge fan of Kyrie's talent and was arguing earlier this year that he was better than Thomas and that I would take him any day over IT. But to say he is the best guard in the series is a stretch. So yes, I agree with you. As for Durant.. all you can do is laugh when someone calls him soft.

Meh, gonna skip the series this year. Like Durant said, "If you don't like it, don't watch it." GSW in 4, maybe 5. I'd sure love to hear the Cav's win it again and beat this stacked team. Go Lakers!
I am not going to blame momentum, injuries or refs.

What I will blame is the soft ass suspension given to Draymond for game 5. The Cavs were in trouble. Their confidence was shot. The players looked defeated. Sports Illustrated published an article titled "LeBron James's supporting casts: Are current Cavs his worst Finals squad?" The series was done. Then the NBA gave LeBron life.

Warriors win game 5 with no Draymond suspension, and no one will ever be able to convince me otherwise.
