Pulled the trigger, 5 games.
USF +3.5 = I keep looking at this line and wondering if I am missing something. I know USF has to replace a lot of players. But they've had 8/11/10 win seasons and the Seniors/Juniors are from Taggart's final recruitment years. Despite Strong's struggle at Texas, he is still a good coach. Texas is tough to win at with Texas A&M in the SEC (look at Herman currently). Plus USF starting QB is Blake Barnett, former #1 QB, Alabama commit, ASU transfer. He may not be the best, but he's good. GT's Paul Johnson has had the 3 worst years of his career, his GT program is spiraling down the drain, they didn't win a road game last year. I'm not saying USF is a lock to win the game, but for USF to be the underdog at home just boggles my mind.
Northwestern -3 = I think everyone is looking at the score last year at Duke. NW has won 9 straight games and is playing at home. Duke's running QB gave NW fits but I think with a year to prepare, NW will be much more prepared.
Colorado +4.5 = I wasn't much of a believer in Colorado but they steamrolled Colorado State. Nebraksa under Scott Frost is a big unknown with their game cancelled. Frost himself only has 2 years under his belt, including last year's miracle season at UCF. I'm picking this game because I feel like people are over-valuing Frost, I don't think his predecessor left much talent on the team.
Utah -10 = Utah's defense utterly blanked Weber State. Northern Illinois couldn't do anything offensively against Iowa and got run all over. I think Utah wins this by 17-20, the big worry is garbage time points ruining it. Utah also generally travels pretty well.
Texas A&M +12.5 = Clemson has so much hype, I think they are getting over valued. This is a freshman's QB first road game at one of the toughest and loudest places against one of the best coaches. I think the line should have beenlike Clemson -8.
