Yes indeed. They can teach the men a thing or two about baton passing.

Yeaaaaaa...I remember this.

Great relay. Today's relay was just as amazing from lane 1.

Big crowd in again, this time for the RG Team Qualification Round.

US were represented once again, but failed to make the top 8 of a 14 team field. However they performed well & did themselves proud.

I love the olympics, definitely more of a summer Olympic fan then winter but I really enjoy both
I haven't cared for the Olympics in a while, but this year's track and field competition was somewhat refreshing. It seemed like there was more parity, instead of watching the rich countries out-muscle the poor countries. Though, I'm not sure if that just means more countries are doping . . .

Track & field is always the best. stayed tuned for next years world track & field championships in London next August

What's not to love about world sport
Lol Australia, nice inbounds play with bronze on the line
The Russian domination continues in both the Rhythmic Gymnastics Individual & Group events...

INDIVIDUAL FINAL

Gold - Margarita Mamun - Russia

Silver - Yana Kudryavtseva - Russia

Bronze - Ganna Rizatdinova - Ukraine

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
GROUP FINAL
Gold - Russia
Silver - Spain
Bronze - Bulgaria
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Massive crowds were on hand to support the athletes... RG proved a very popular attraction in Rio.

The competition was fierce & of a very high standard this year... The performances from the lower placed gymnasts proved to be just as enjoyable as those from the higher placed.

Well done to all involved.

I agree with you both... I love the Olympics (Summer more) & probably always will.

I love World Cups too (Football / Rugby etc), but for me the Olympics has them beat... I just love the variety on offer, from the diverse athletic talents / abilities to the difference in strengths & body shapes.
