***2015-2016 NBA FINALS: CAVS V. WARRIORS THREAD***

Ridiculous amount of uncalled fouls, 8 or 9 maybe, to end the game. Looked like a pickup game at the gym. NBA looks bad right now.

OKC tried like hell to piss that game away down the stretch and they got lucky. Costly mistakes at the end of games have become their MO.

Hilarious thing is - Waiters shoved Ginobili and still managed to throw a turrrrible pass.

Waiters gonna waiters.

Was a good game. OKC did good keeping SA off the 3...except for that mini run Green had. OKC seems satisfied with LA posting for 40 as long as it makes our offense stagnant.

I think that's a fine strategy...but you can't let him shoot such a high %. Then again, there wasn't much defense could do on many of those shots. He's just making them and you gotta tip your hat to him. Though, I do think they need to get more physical with him.

Heading home - OKC fans have to hope that their role players can hit a few shots. Otherwise, Spurs will get the split (if not more). OKC has to play with reckless abandon and lot of energy - if they do that, they give themselves a good shot at home.

I think it was a bad move not to start Leonard on Westbrook. Of course, SA probably played one of their worst offensive games that I have seen in a while. I don't just mean the shooting. I mean their movement and decisiveness. Seemed as though they were too pass happy and the spacing/cutting was horrible. When they were decisive, it was a shot that was way too early into the shot clock.

I got to give up to the OKC bigs. They played aggressive. Ibaka was on. I don't know why SA didn't just sit back and say, "You want Ibaka to beat us with 3's? Here, we will leave him wide open. Have at it."

Also to add, man, I have seen numerous times Durant gets very skittish in high pressure situations in terms of his ball handling/passing.

While there should have been an offensive foul called on Waiters I think it had little to do with the outcome. San Antonio got the turnover anyway and had a chance to win the game. Plus, they had a timeout left and could have used it to set up a final play. So basically it would have been the same as if the offensive foul had been called.

When you look at that last play there are several infractions on SA that weren't called either.
  1. Ginobli was stepping on the line and not giving the required 3 feet
  2. Danny Green was manhandling Durant and Leonard had a hold of Westbrook's jersey right before the ball was thrown inbounds

Lots of complaining but the Spurs didnt lose the game because of the refs.. They were outplayed for the majority of the game and no one other than Aldridge played a strong game.

I agree with most of this but other than Adams working his ass off, I don't know if they were outplayed. Spurs on offense looked very sloppy. There was a play in the 4th where they ran 4 weaves in one possession and doing nothing out of it. I'm sure OKC had a good defensive plan as well but SA had quite a few open layups they missed or they just didn't take Tony Parker being the biggest culprit of this. They also seemed to not want to shoot the 15-19 footer. They LOVE this shot. Seemed like they were really looking for the 3's so the game would be easier for them.

If you cant call everything, call nothing.

Refs did their job. I like no calls in the last seconds of a game.

Pretty much the way I saw it...yes ref blew it with the non-call on Waiters, but also things that could've been called on SA before and after inbounds pass.

And ultimately they did end up with the ball and could've called TO to set up a play, but obviously they favored the live-ball TO/scramble which they uncharacteristicly botched...thought Ginobili had a good look from 5-6 ft away but he kicked it back to Mills, who although outstanding close out by Adams, seemed to panic even though he had plenty of time to either pump-fake and shoot, or pass to the wide-open Green. Lots of pressure though, easier said than done, but do not think Spurs were robbed.

Spurs weren't robbed at all. They had plenty of chances. And I'm a Spurs fan. Was sooooooo calling for Mills to pump fake Adams, step forward for an easy J.

This. Fans b***h about refs calling b******t all the time, and when they don't call nothing and just let them play, they still b***h.

That was a great end to the game, very exciting, a foul there would've taken all the excitement out.
