Of course it ruined basketball. Basketball should be coming down court, giving the ball to your best player, letting him isolate and go one on one while the other 4 players watch, and slowing the game down to a crawl. Shame on the Warriors for moving the ball around and making it fun to watch.

The game is evolving, the Warriors play an exciting brand of basketball and the one time honored aspect of the game that they follow, hit the open man. That being said the point can be made that defenders are left playing with their hands behind their backs. Any contact is a foul, even out the scales, let defenders defend, otherwise we may as well call the game H-O-R-S-E.

they were doing it for everybody, not just the lakers. Donaghy even said that he had games where we wouldn't call fouls for Shaq.

it's just another phase.
we had the fancy dunking stage (from the MJ vs Wilkins duels)
the fancy dribblers (from the And1 era).....the era when everyone forgot about the midrange jumper.....
now this era.

That's what I don't understand now lol. For the past 20-30 years, everybody has been b***hing about how guys cant shoot anymore and all they want to do is dunk or do fancy dribbles. Now when they are shooting, it's ruining the game.

Spurs ruined it a few years ago. Teamwork, who needs that in the NBA?
