Jarryd Hayne going to jail.

Interesting that Hayne is playing in London.

We have our very own favourite Mod that is BIG fan of Hayne and his supporters. Maybe he can give us a live commentary.
Hayne did the right thing.

He wasn't going to get another chance here.

Opinion of those who are most affected by Hayne's decision. Hayne is not guaranteed anything and no favours have been granted. He has been given an opportunity to impress like every other eligible player with the requisite skillset.

Hayne is not unfairly taking the spot of anyone in the team. There are a whole bunch of overseas (european based players) rugby players who played for Fiji last weekend for the first time this season. They have been given a chance, now its Haynes chance. Survival of the fittest.

If that turns out to be true than it's easier to accept the fact
Speaking for myself mate because there are differing views

It's just all bad wherever you look.

I know plenty of boof heads from league and I thought he would be an exception.

This is way against the character of a stand out individual.

Again. What was Bechta (his US agent) doing not to mention his Aussie agent.

Who gives a crap off he can play if he did not stick to his word.

The writing was on the wall I suppose when he walked out on Parra while under contract. Just another Sonny Bill.

When he walked away from the Eels and NRL he said if he was ever to return it would be with the Eels and has continued to say the same thing, it will be interesting as he hasn't broken that yet. I don't think he promised anything with his move to the NFL just that he wanted a new challenge and wanted to see if he could make it.
The answer to that could be yes/no/maybe depending on your point of view but the man himself is obviously satisfied with what he has discovered in 18 months.

Bit different to $unny Bill in that every time Hayne has moved it has been at a significant pay cut. From a reported $10million offer from the NRL to $500k in the NFL if he was successful, from the NFL to Fiji 7s that I think are on about $25k a season. Bit hard to claim it is for the money given the dollars that are involved.

I signed up for the ride long ago and will continue to follow it and see where it goes, the media will try and make of it what ever they think will get them the most reads or watches. Anyone else find it funny that today was the day that a certain media outlet decided to run a story about alleged third part deals to Hayne and even resorted to calling him the fail NFL convert. These are the same people that were talking up everything he did last year.
Barry taking this rather well.

True but that was before the salary cap drama..

I just think he realized he was going to fail at making the roster this year so tried to save face and found a new destination to take his journey. Personally I would have had more respect for him if he went down swinging rather than throwing in the towel.
