Those MVP odds are out of wack. I think Lebron is the favorite to win MVP. He's back on top of the league and Curry/Durant will split and Westbrook will struggle to win enough games to match his stats.

I will gladly take 5-1 on Lebron.

It's been 4 seasons since he won it. Seems like he realized that pushing extra hard to win the regular season mvp leaves the tank a little too empty for the playoffs. No doubt he could win it if he tried. I just think at this point in his career he has titles on his mind and not mvps.
What are his odds of him staying healthy?

I disagree, I think the Thunder are good enough to be a top 4 or 5 team in the west and Westbrook is capable of carrying the team on his shoulders the entire season. He could average 28, 10, and 8 next season

This. I think Westbrook is gonna go ape-s**t on the league this year. He's gotta stay healthy and get the OKC in top 5 (which they can...they still are very talented).

As for Lebron...I feel he really really wants to win that 5th MVP to tie Jordan...but don't think he's going to exhaust himself in the regular season...which is what he'll have to do to compete with Westbrook and Curry/Durant.
Lebron thinks MJ got too much credit for his rings-

You can say what you want about Jordan but that dude was clutch in the 4th.

Agree 100%. MJ got it done when he needed to and wasn't afraid to let Paxson or Kerr take the last shot, which can be more difficult sometimes.

Yi Jianlian's one-year Laker deal indeed carries a cap number of $8 million but Yi must earn $6.8 mil through "likely bonuses," sources say

Yes but Lebron keeps putting himself in losing battles when he opens his mouth sometimes. Then eventually gets into woe is me mode.

Agree to certain extent....but he is riding high right now. Dude won a title for Cleveland and did it by coming back from down 3-1 to make history in more ways than 1. He may rub people the wrong way with some remarks but he definitely ain't losing . A lot of people said he needed to win a title for CLE to cement his legacy. He did that and still has about 6 years left of playing...He is now stress free and I bet he feels he can do and say no wrong at this point and I don't blame him
