good move for him. He was the 3rd PG in Denver.

D.J. Augustin's deal with Orlando is for 4 years, $29 million, sources say

not bad, and he re-unites with Vogel.

Fellas, new age in the NBA. Reality, Batum, Bazemore, these cats getting paid insane amounts sound dumb as hell to us. Like wtf is going on. Horrible signing... reality is this is a new age. Have to look at deals differently. What were overpays before are not now. New status quo.

It's also because almost all teams have cap room due to 35% increase in cap. So, it's a players market. Same will happen next year.

Once cap space stabilizes (likely in 2018) - these contracts will look really bad and salaries will go down a bit.

That'll be a good pickup for them. But, I thought Bird wanted to play fast?

Mozgov's deal, roughly $16 mil a year, is the old $10-12 mil a year contract. After the cap jumps next off season it will be the old $8-10 mil a year contract. The NBA is soaring and the players are reaping the benefits. The cap in the nfl is like $160 million for like 80 players. The current cap in the NBA is like $113 million for 15 players and is making a huge jump next year that will make s**t even more ridiculous. Mozgov now makes more than Philip Rivers and Eli Manning make in a season. That's insane.

That said, f**k mozgov and this deal he got. lol
Poor Hornets. They went from a playoff team to a lottery team in a span of a couple hours.

Lakers gave Mozgov 64 million over 4 years, this on top of reports that they can't secure any meetings with any good free agents. The lakers have become a joke and I absolutely love it

I know Clarkson and Mozgov aren't great players but I think the Lakers are getting pretty good value on both deals. Think Mozgov's deal is a little too long though since he's already 29. But not bad

Mozgav had 15 total points in playoffs lol

He's going to play more than 5.8 minutes per game for the Lakers

He was the 2nd leading scorer in the finals the year Dubs won.

I'm just glad someone offered him enough money so Cavs can't match it.

He seems to not "fit" the new NBA. Maybe Cavs and OKC success with bigs made his value go up.
