I really don't see what the Lakers are trying to do, but I'm no Lakers fan. I do like the Clarkson signing, and the draft pick but that's all I get.

I know Clarkson and Mozgov aren't great players but I think the Lakers are getting pretty good value on both deals. Think Mozgov's deal is a little too long though since he's already 29. But not bad

It has with average annual value. I mean NFL has always been last. But I think it's surpassing the MLB now too.
Mid level/good not great players don't get 28 mill per year in the MLB. Zach Greinke got 32 mill a year but he is/was/will be a much better baseball player than Damar Derozan will be a basketball player.
But NBA is limited to a 5 year max deal, and Stanton just signed for 13 years (with an option) so I'm pretty sure there is no limit on the amount of years in the MLB.
