Blues looking the goods week 1, 4x4.

Rieko needs to stay at centre, when SBW returns they are going to be lethal ... Competition in the NZ conference is gonna be fierce with the Lions touring. Everybody will be putting their hand for a Test jumper.

Will it just be us two Doing the picks if so, do u still want to continue or just stick to league...up to you bro.
I've missed all the first round games and tonight's reds vs rebels.
Yeah I do like the way the blues look.

We'll leave the rugby tipping for this season, & stick to the NRL, 4by. (More people involved / interested)

I've got more on my plate this year, & won't be online as much...

So, let's just enjoy the rugby, & stop in here to chat from time to time...

Lots of interesting things happening this season, with the Lions tour right at the top of the list. Should be a damn good Lions team too.

Chiefs v Blues tonight will be a classic... Canes v Rebels tomorrow. Koroibete makes his debut, & Milner-Skudder makes his return.

Also the South Island derby is on after that.

~~~~~~~~~~
Might be the last season with rugby under the current format... In 2018 we could see a streamlined global rugby season between North & South.
Cool, north and south? Islands or hemisphere?
Hemisphere... Who knows we could even see some kind of world club competition?
~~~~~~

Blues v Chiefs was a beauty, until Luatua's moment of madness... Red card killed the game, but it was deserved. No excuse for poor discipline.
Watching sevens today, usa was 2 converted tries up front until the last few minutes of the second half. Became a draw at full-time, golden point win went to England. USA especially Perry baker is becoming a brown belt of the game...
Highlanders v Crusaders was outstanding, 4x4... You missed one for the ages. (Brutal intensity / physicality for the whole 80mins)

Canes annihilated the Rebels... Nehe looks like he hasn't even been away. He didn't skip a beat... Whole team looks super fit, & deadly on attack.

In the first two round they've outscored their opponents 154 - 23.

Rebels look absolute trash, & I wonder if Koroibete is regretting his decision? He was certainly put in a tough spot frequently, & looked a little lost / disinterested.
England tie New Zealand's Tier 1 wins record...

Lock them in to break it against Ireland in the final game... Back to back slams & the wins the record. This is a special team.

That was a brutal dispatching of a team which travelled south with some hopes, themselves. Best England performance for quite a while.
Actually England are the silver medallists so they carry that form to this season's sevens however watching the united states, they are a formidable force actually there were a few upsets on the first day, rugby is certainly gaining high ground in the skills and knowledge stakes of once were minnow teams. It's scary but exciting!

Satisfied with the blues result, performance can be fixed. can't wait for sbw to get a run. too many mistakes looking for space and at the breakdown need to do more work on their kicks.

The record falls this weekend.

Tbh, I'm more excited about the prospect of England & New Zealand meeting (When the moment finally arrives), the clear number 1-2 teams in the world, than the Lions Tour...

It's the way England play as a team, & how Eddie has got them firing... Imo it makes them more lethal than a Gatland run B&I Lions.

Lions Tour will still be special though.

4x4, who's leading the Sevens circuit in both the Mens / Womens?

Blues have lost back to back games they should have won. Very disappointing.

Execution in crucial moments, discipline, & concentration / effort for the full 80mins are killing this team.

They are now looking likely to again finish last in the NZ conference, after losses to the Chiefs / Highlanders / Crusaders... SMH
