I am f**king pissed. Juve is my 1 team Madrid is my 2nd team. I hope Madrid loses next match because that was f**king b******t. It was a great game but to lose to a f**king ref and not let one of the worlds best keepers take the penalty. GTFO

I think the old rule was, if you walk out of a game then you lose by a score of 3-0. Technically you can walk out, but your club will pay a heavy penalty. You don't want to enrich FIFA anymore than they are. It's corrupt enough.

Oliver giving the penalty is the right call. 100%....If you want to view things in a vacuum. If your outlook is one of taking into consideration the whole, then a penalty should not have been given.

I have always argued in two-legged ties, the officiating crew ought to be the same (in fact, I would like this for all "series" type playoffs - in all sports). Athletes, while they get mad about wrong calls, would probably be more okay with wrong calls (officials are humans, prone to mistakes, after all) so long as those making the calls were consistently wrong.

The fact is, there were inconsistent calls all day long (Benatia should have been sent off for the foul that led to the PK, and Oliver's failure to do so was the most overt example of how out of his depth Oliver really was). Furthermore, specific inconsistencies (yellow cards given for simulation) were especially egregious when one takes into account both legs.

For me, everything Oliver did in extra time was correct, if you insulate what he did in the 93rd minute from everything else. But, that is simply not how sport works. Failure to consider the totality of the situation is a monumental error.
