That's how Miller does things and how he has always done it... He's not a Homer when it comes to that kind of stuff, which I respect. Even tho he's the Giants broadcaster...too much of the Hawk Harrelsons and Jon Sterlings of the world

I don't mind it either, but some people do.

I like Miller the least of the Giants 4 announcers. Kuiper is the best and I have started to appreciate Dave Fleming more. But, the guy is certainly a respected broadcaster.

You're gonna trash Mayo for saying John instead of Jon but spell Flemming wrong? Tisk tisk!
I like Miller more than Flem but he does get a little sidetracked sometimes.

Why do you have to be Jon Miller OR Hawk Harrelson? Kuiper is neither. Miller should call it like Kuiper.
When youre broadcasting to countless thousands of Giants fans on the radio, you are all they have to know whats going on. If Posey hits a deep fly to the wall that could either give us a lead, or end in a loss, dont yell and call the out all excited. It makes the loss even more frustrating, because he made it sound like a HR.
Know your audience. Giants fans are all going to be pissed, so dont make it worse by calling it like you're excited that they gave it up.
I hate homers, but theres a way to be a home team friendly announcer without being Hawk Harrelson. Look no farther than the booth 10 ft. over.

I completely understand your issue with Miller. It kicks me in the balls sometimes too, but before the other team catches the pop up he's calling like a home run it does keep me on the edge of my seat. There are some players/coaches on other teams all the announcers are in love with which I think adds to it. When we play the Cards it's a Yadier/Matheny love fest.
