Back in.
Aoki
Hudson
Lincecum
Affeldt

Out??
Adrianza - for sure he has to be one
Machi - can see a DFA here. Just no room for him
Osich - simply numbers but he deserves to stay. But he wont unless they trade Lopez or Affeldt
Vogey?? Surprise trade or DFA?

gonna be tough.

I think Aoki will replace Adrianza

Affeldt will replace Osich (unless Osich forces the Giants to keep him up)

Lincecum stays in the pen when hes activated, Machi gets DFA'd

Not sure what happens with Hudson. I think hes done, but the Giants arent just going to tell him to retire, or cut him. It will be an awkward decision between him and Vogelsong.
Speaking of Giants prospects.. kid who barely gets talked about. I'm liking the 94-96 heat.

Giants RHP Chase Johnson, Class A Advanced San Jose: 7 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 8 K -- Already in the midst of a strong run, Johnson was at his best Saturday night, falling one short of a season high in strikeouts while coming away with his fifth win of the year. The lone hit against the 23-year-old was a leadoff single to open the game. Johnson, whose fastball was sitting at 94-96 mph, retired 10 straight at one point and now sports the California League's fifth-best ERA at 3.01 for the Giants.
Im still hoping Stephen Johnson ends up getting a call up in the next few years. I want to see that 102 mph fastball.

He could be the next max scherzer

Didn't really figure it out til he was 27 or 28... Will the GS show patience or deal him?

Scherzer was in the majors at 23. Crick will be lucky if he isnt in A ball at 23 the way he is going.

He and his teammate Keury Mella are both legit SP prospects.

Mella didn't do great in the futures game, not that that means anything.

I'm high on him too.

We should play the phillies more often.

Theyre giving off an NBA style tanking vibe. They all know these are pointless games.

Well they don't have to look too far to see a perfect example.

Something has to be wrong with him. He was a top prospect for an extended period of time, and now he just sucks?

I get why people were down on Stratton. He was having a hard time getting off the ground right out of the gate. Looked like a typical early round bust, although hes doing better this year. But Crick worked his way to a top 35 ranking, and just recently took a nosedive. Hopefully it's something they can fix.
BTW, it feels like a million years since the last time we got to be excited about the next top SP prospect getting called up. For a long time it was a regular thing.

Since we traded Wheeler, and Crick flatlined, we havent had that "stud callup" buzz.
