I provided footage. Can you do the same?
Show me a video of him being knocked out in a boxing match. If it was a professional fight there should be video just as I was able to find.

Ok let's discount it and say it was mistaken identity. In your fight he fought a bum who's never professionally boxed before or afterwards. What does that prove?
Here is more footage of him sparring.

You can only fight who was put in front of you. It proves that some MMA fighters are capable of winning professional boxing matches. Something you guys seem to think is impossible. Not only did he win, he got a tko. So he dominated the bum, as he should. And Mayweather better do the same on August 26. Because if he doesn't KO Conor that's a loss for him and the boxing community

You are aware fighters have a say on their opponents, right? Not knocking Silva everyone starts off against ham sandwiches but nobody has ever said a MMA fighter couldn't out box a hobo. The argument is about respectable opponents.

thats just the thing though, you're wise enough to see that, but many of these boxing fans act as if some of these top level ufc boxers can't even beat an amtuar boxer.

Fair enough. It's harder for a boxer to jump to MMA then the reverse although I don't think either side can climb to the top. McGregor has enough stand up game to beat any incapable boxer. Floyd has no idea to wrestle so even most UFC amateurs could take him as long as they aren't dumb enough to try and box with him.

Agreed. But I do think that Floyd is such a supreme athlete and hard worker that if given a year to prepare he could learn to how defend a takedown. If he adds that tool next step would be defending leg kicks. thats the hardest part for a boxer to adapt too. I can speak from experience as I started out boxing but when I began sparring MMA I hated receiving kicks to leg and body. But when I went back to just boxing sparring it was much easier to avoid getting hit because all I had to worry about was my opponents hands. That's why I think McGregor will be able to go the distance and hopefully avoid being KOd. But Floyd is the best.
