It won't matter in the end. He lost to Diaz and the results didn't affect his ability to draw, in fact he drew bigger in the rematch. His image will be fine as he is an amateur fighting a pro in a sport that he has never competed in.
The MJ comparision is not comparable in any way but I didn't say it would effect him as a draw. Even getting embarrassed by Floyd is still exposure. Big matches increase your prestige. But he will be laughed at for quite a bit and it when people discuss him they will mention that time he got clowned by Floyd if that's how the fight goes.

Why do you think he thinks boxing is real? He's done nothing but criticize the sport that I know of and he is trying to walk into the ring and go toe to toe vs the best of this generation, completely bypassing all of the other top contenders which is blatant disrespect to them and the sport. He either truly believes he is that good or it's 100% about the pay and he is willing to embarrass himself to get the pay day he would never sniff just fighting in the UFC...which is it?
