Right. You're just jealous. Everyone hates on black swag.
I'm sure you're a righteous wholesome cat with no skeletons in your closet.
Funny how you label him as illiterate when Money has a higher boxing IQ than anyone in the history of the game. He's just a dumb black n***a right. Take a hike, dude.
Lol what. Black swag? Black swag is beating your women's ass? If you like him as a fighter, cool. But you can't justify his skeletons as "black swag" like it's OK.
And also, please show me proof that he has the highest boxing IQ in history. I didn't know they tested it. Was it the boxerlic test? Lol. Stupid post is stupid.

Mayweather won the fight as expected. Great defense. Great technique. It's just so boring. He doesn't attack anyone anymore which pisses me off. He would probably still win every fight, and could do damage, but he doesn't have to in order to win so why do it. I don't blame him, but I don't enjoy watching his fights.

It's a shame to see such a sorry welterweight division...some of the most exciting fights I've witnessed have been in that weight class, and it's where I fought when I was coming up.
Is Mayweather boxing his way to these wins? Absolutely. It would have been robbery to give that fight to Pacquiao. Is Mayweather doing anything good for the sport or for his weight class? No. He's a champion who does just enough to notch a win. His fights look like the four-corners offense. Or soccer.

So was it worth the $100?
The site I was trying to watch it from (which charges $5) was in ddos defend mode all night. They refunded my "donation" lolz. I wasn't even going to ask for a refund as I've watched like 30+ UFC events over the past 5 years for a total cost of like $150.

Well I had a bunch of people show up, watched the end of the SF Giants game, watched the derby, watched the draft, listed to music, BBQ sliders, dude brought shrimp, had some great beers, then we watched the fight, drank a little too much...lol'd a lot. Good party. Fight was OK. So Ya, worth the $100 for a fun night and I didn't have to drive.

Not asking about your party :)
So it sounds like the fight itself was pretty "meh" lolz.

Lol. My point is fights are rarely worth the price. Old Tyson fights cost $49 bucks for a 30 second KO. It's how you go about watching it that counts. If I valued the fight I would say $12.50.

Your twisting my words. Of course beating your wife isn't "black swag." The swag part is his flamboyant, in your face, I'm the greatest, hip hop culture style. People hate on that and fail to take it for what it is, entertainment. Why so offended by his arrogance if not threatened? He's a HOF boxer, that's it. It's not like he's writing political law for the United States of America.Originally posted by Rubberneck36:Originally posted by Oakland-Niner:Originally posted by StOnEy333:Originally posted by Oakland-Niner:Suck it haters!!! Dude is a brilliant, self promoting business with unmatched boxing skill. My personal opinion is that a lot of people don't like him, not because he's arrogant, but because he black an arrogant. He's not a good humble 'house n***a" that knows his place. I honestly think if he was white with the exact same attitude, he'd be 10 times more popular. But again, that's my opinion.
As far as boxing IQ, your response doesn't even deserve one. If you've listened to anyone that knows anything about boxing, you wouldn't have said what you said.
I think it sucks that he hit his girlfriend. With that said, I'm not surprised. The guy lives and breathes violence. He makes a living hitting people, not just on fight night, but every day in the gym. I certainly don't condone hit women, but I'd like to read up on the circumstances. What was the situation? Was it a crime of passion? Did she go HAM on him? Or did he punch her square in the face because she bought the wrong kind of milk?
I root for Floyd, not for his character, but because of his greatness in the ring. He's not 48 -0 because he runs; plenty of fighters do that and get KTHO. He's 48 and 0 because he's lighting quick and can adjust and counter any style ( boxing iq) and counter with thing other fighters haven't seen. As Manny said, he's hard to hit because he won't stop moving. We'll duh. That's called boxing, not running. If manny wants to brawl he should of fought a Latin fighter ( I say that with a respect).

He is great, no doubt. The ultimate goal of boxing is to hit someone and not get hit, then win. He does it better than anyone.
But I don't think people hate him because he's an arrogant black man. I think they hate him because he loves being the villain, flaunts it, says inappropriate s**t, and everyone knows he beat his women. And he acts like he doesn't give a f**k about it.
I also think people are just tired of watching his fights because Americans love knockouts. Mayweather does press the action anymore. Plus people feel like he ducked Manny for years (probably would have still been the same result). Tyson was a f**king nut job but America still loves him. Because he knocked people out, then admitted his earlier actions were stupid.

The fight was a snoozer… Mayweather was hugging more than a teletubby. He definitely dominated in the most boring way possible. So much for boxings resurgence though, if anything that fight lost more boxing fans than gained.

I agree with the bold. I've said for the last 10 years that Floyd would of been a much more exciting boxer to watch if he had at least 1 loss in his career. In my opinion, the closer he got to the end of his career (last 5 or so years), the more he became concerned with "not lossing," rather than winning. He's gotten to cautious now and does produce boring fights.I would of loved to see Pac vs Floyd five years ago if Floyd already had a loss. That would of been a fight for the ages. Instead, we got a fight of the aged...lol
Anyways man, no disrespect. Like all of us, my opinions are formed based on biases, life experience and personal observations.
