tyson in his prime would break every one of klitch's ribs and turn his guts into a slushy. he was like a damn pit bull, i dont even know if ali would beat tyson when tyson was young and hungry. ali could take serious abuse but tyson wouldve probably killed him if he tried to take damage just to tire him out. klitchko isnt in the same class as the other heavy weight legends

been in 48 official matches with the other guy trying to KO his punk ass and he is still undefeated. im sure there were plenty of fighters in those fights that he delt with, diffused and won. Floyd is who he has always been. great defense, quick and a counterpuncher.

The object of boxing is not to knock the other senseless. Its to score. Sometimes you knock a guy out in the process.

Its like a running back who jukes around a guy to get into the endzone instead of trucking them and someone being upset about the TD because the trucking did not occur.

I think it relates more to him being pop and using the hack a shaq strategy to win. It works but it kills the sport

Pound for pound is such BS. Being the "best boxer in the world" doesnt mean anything unless you could actually beat ANY other man in the ring.

Klitschko might not have beaten Tyson, but I dont think anybody is arguing that Klitschko is the greatest ever in the first place. My point is just that you cant call yourself the best boxer in the world if there is another pro boxer out there that could beat the snot out of you.

Mayweather can have his spotlight of being the best boxer in his weight class, but its the same spotlight that the baseball minor league AAA champion gets. They won the title, but everyone knows what would happen if they played the best team in the Majors.

Mayweather is the best in his weight class, and is a Hall of Fame boxer. He is also the most entertaining boxer of his era, and he makes a crap ton of money because of it. Just dont go around calling yourself the "Best in the World".
