lol...Reggie is my favorite player from the 90s but when ppl make these kind of absurd statements - they lose all credibility on the topic. All he did was showed his bias towards the player from his generation.
Of course, I think Jordan is a better player - but the gap between the two is smaller than most ppl think. Reggie gotta stick with his 90s (watered-down expansion era) nemesis.
I'll take MJ over Kobe, I'm a Kobe fan hater and I'd wash MJs balls..... But even I see that as an inflammatory statement in regards to Kobe. The only credibility he has is somewhat of an overlapping career with both players at the same position.

Reggie had the unique honor of being humiliated by both of them deep in the playoffs.

Kobe severely sprained his ankle in Game 2 and only played 9 minutes, and missed Game 3. Then, in Game 4, on an injury that would have knocked most guys out of the series, he dominated the Pacers in the 4th Quarter & OT, with Shaq sitting on the bench, having fouled out, putting the Lakers up 3-1. He basically ended that series by himself, in Reggie's house.

Yea but lakers were up 2-1 without much of the contribution from Kobe. I don't think Pacers were gonna win that series regardless of what Kobe did or didn't do. Shaq was raping Smits in that series.

Reggie Miller shot 1-16 in Game 1 in part because Kobe completely smothered him. (Kobe also played stretches on Jackson) He was solid on the offensive end in that game as well, although that game was all about Shaq on the offensive end, and didn't shoot much. He had big time games in Game 1, Game 4, & Game 6, while missing most of Game 2 and all of Game 3. The only bad game he had was Game 5, when Shaq was the only guy who showed up. Shaq was a monster, no doubt, but Kobe as also tremendous in that series. People care way too much about FG%.
