Mueller didn't play tonight, and the Capitals scored 5 goals. Wondering if there's any correlation. At the same time, the Sharks were up 3-0 after the first because of two goals by the guy who played in his place, Matt Irwin.

If the Sharks were trying to use tonight to get a better idea who to play more between the two, I don't think any answers came tonight.

Wow, this game went to Shootout? I saw 3-0 and thought games over. Then 5-3 and I was thinking ok no problem, closer than I thought but it's ok. Typical Sharks game!! Oh well, a wins a win.

As much as I hate to admit, I kind of agree with ads. I never feel safe with a 3-0 (and sometimes even 4-0) lead with this team. That should be a GAME OVER type of lead. Teams like LA get that kind of lead and clamp down, smothering the opposition so they literally have no chance at a comeback. We don't know how to do that, or don't have the defensive skill to do so.

its one thing if it happens once in a while

but the MO is, when you go down against the sharks, you can come back.

watched the game night, Defense looks confused still. Hannah is really slow, and Burns made a few bone head plays.

On a good note, Irwin had a solid outing on both ends of the ice! Lets hope he keeps elevating his game!

Oh and also, Stalock deserves a whole month to start to prove he can be the guy. I am so sick of Niemi after what 4 years?
