Figured I'd throw this out there

SEC Dominates AP Poll

SEC outside of Missouri

They'll eat each other before it's all over. Still it's not hard to see who the AP will favor in a one loss situation.

Wow, I am 0-6 in big game picks!!!!

So whatever I say, bet the opposite!!!!

1. No. 6 Georgia at No. 24 South Carolina, 12:30PM PST, CBS
Georgia Notes: Impressive debut against Clemson put Gurley as the front runner for the Heisman. Also impressive was Georgia's defense completely shut down Clemson's offense in the 2nd half. The challenge for Georgia will be to generate a passing offense to keep defenses off balance

South Carolina Notes: After getting embarrassed by Texas A&M, South Carolian finds themselves in a must-win game to stay alive in the playoff race. RB Mike Davis and WR Shaq Roland bouncing back certainly helped the offense, but the defense looks porous.

Line: -2.5 Georgia

Pick:I'm going with Georgia to cover

2. Tennessee at No. 4 Oklahoma, 5:00PM PST, ESPN

Tenn Notes: Butch Jones is in his 2nd year project of returning Tenn. to relevance. So far they've been tested by somewhat decent non-major squads in Utah State and Arkansas State and passed with solid wins. They aren't as bad as last years 5-7 squad, but they still have a ways to go.

Oklahoma Notes: The Okies are riding high in rankings, largely thanks to last years bowl win over 'Bama. However QB Trevor Knight hasn't looked impressive so far, and he was key in the upset over 'Bama. Oklahoma is a well balanced and deep team.

Line: -20.5 Oklahoma

Pick: Tennessee to cover. I just can't spot 20.5 points over an SEC team, and I suspect Oklahoma is over hyped.

3. No. 21 Louisville at Virginia, 9:30 PM PST, ESPN3

Louisville Notes: The post-Bridgewater/Strong era has started off well. Despite missing WR Parker, Louisville started off with an impressive win over Miami, led by run-oriented offense. Their defense was very impressive, holding a star RB on Miami under 100 yards and forcing 3 turnovers.

Virginia Notes: The Cavaliers were impressive against UCLA, nearly pulling off an upset win over a team picked by many to win the national championship before the season started. If Virginia can get some quality QB play, they could be a dangerous squad.

Line: Louisville -6.5

Pick: Louisville to cover. The line started at 10 and dropped to 6.5 based on Virginia nearly beating UCLA. However that game was the dreaded west coast team playing on the East Coast in a morning game, and the UCLA squad has shown its offensive line is a glaring weak spot.

Your killing us here. 0-9 now, but I have faith that this week will be your week. You can do it.

lol, its getting comical.I've never seen such a bad streak before.

So anyways, here are 3 big games of the week and my picks.

1. No. 5 Auburn at No. 20 Kansas State, 4:30PM PST, THURSDAY, ESPN

Auburn Notes: Pre-Season ALL SEC QB Nick Marshall hasn't done much, and he hasn't needed to in the first 2 games of the year. Auburn has a lethal run attack with Marshall and emerging star RB Artist-Payne. WR Coates is a super talented threat through the air to balance out their attack, and is expected to return this week from a knee injury. Defensively they are no slouches either, led by DT Gabe Wright and S Whitehead.

Kansas State notes: Bill Snyder is a legend, not only for consistently building teams in Kansas State but taking low quality recruits and making a team. One of the keys has been finding dual threat QBs that fit his system, and he has that in senior QB Waters. Paired up with him is stud WR/KR Lockett, and a solid offensive line. Defensively, the star is DE Ryan Mueller who is undersized, but likely a 2-time all BIG-12 selection.

Line: -6.5

Pick: Auburn to cover. Auburn across the board is just too deep for K-State to challenge.

2. No. 22 Clemson at No. 1 Florida State, 5PM PST, ABC

Florida State Notes: FSU is stacked again on offense, led by Heisman sensation QB Winston, TE O'Leary, WR Rashad Greene, stud RB Williams, and an all-senior offensive line. Defensively FSU is loaded with more future NFL picks in DE Mario Edwards Jr (former #1 overall recruit), CB PJ Williams and S Ramsey. However they are very young on D, no senior starters and only 2 seniors on their 2-deep.

Clemson Notes: The Tigers have the opposite side of the story, with a defense with 8 seniors and led by future nfl stud DE Vic Beasley. Their front 7 was suppose to be feared, and then Gurley ran them over. Offensively however, they've lost too much talent to the NFL over the past 2 seasons and will not be the typical high powered Clemson offense.

Line: FSU -22

Pick: Despite the talent on the field, FSU's offense has yet to truly explode this season and found themselves in a fight against Oklahoma State. Picking Clemson to cover.

3. Virginia at No. 21 BYU, 12:30PM PST, ESPN

Virginia Notes: Well Virginia is real, almost taking UCLA down and beating Louisville. RB Kevin Parks was suppose to be the star of the show, but he has yet to impress while QB play has been inconsistent. So how are they winning? Fantastic defensive line play led by DE Harold, agressive LB play led by MLB Coley, and a stud nfl pick in the secondary in S Harris

BYU Notes: The stormin' mormons (is that not PC?) creamed Texas then had a bit of struggle against a weak Houston squad. Offensively it is the QB Taysom Hill show who continues to improve every year, but still has a propensity to turn it over. Paired up with him on offense is a solid RB in Williams. Their defense remains untested.

Line: BYU -13.5

Pick: Virginia to cover. Last week I didn't trust them, this week I am trusting their D to give Taysom Hill fits.

Jameis Winston got suspended for the first half of this weekend's game for saying, "f**k her right in the p***y!"

Still isn't worth a suspension even if it's just a half.

Good for him being smart enough to walk away while he's still really young.
