Lloyd Carr had a great squad from the mid 90's to the mid 2000's
2004 was their last conference championship, best player was Braylon Edwards (David Baas was also on the team)

They play with alternates once a year. In the past it's usually been a modified red helmet with variations to the jerseys and pants. The last couple of years they have went with a black theme(red on black, black on red, black on black on black). Been wanting all white for a loooooong time.
Kind of wish Niners would go back to a white on white(jersey and pants) for an alternate one of these days as well.
