It begins!!!! First game is Abilene Christian vs. Georgia State on Wednesday at 7PM EST. But WTF cares about that game. Top 3 games of the week and my picks 1. No. 21 Texas A&M at No. 9 South Carolina, Thursday 6PM EST, SEC Network -South Carolina favored by 10.5 -South Carolina notes: Likely an over rated team to start off the year, they are lead by an elite RB in Mike Davis and WR Shaq Roland is a potential start in the making. Defensively they lost some key players up front but are lead by two young studs at LB in Holloman and Moore. -Texas A&M: The post-Manziel era begins. Sophmore QB Kenny Hill is taking over and he was a big time highschool football star, a mobile QB to boot. A&M has a very young offense with only 3 seniors starting, and only 3 seniors on D starting. -Pick: South Carolina to cover. In case you missed it, Texas A&M was a bad football team that won games on Manziel-Evans magic. Texas A&M has a lot of young talent, but on the road against South Carolina is going to be a tough lesson 2. No, 14 Wisconsin vs. No. 13 LSU, Saturday, 9PM EST, ESPN -LSU favored by 5 -LSU Notes: LSU has a powerful offensive line and is loaded at RB. The passing game will be a work in progress with a freshman QB and replacing the top 2 WRs. Defensively LSU is very young and reloading, yet again, but should still boast a top 30 Defense at least. -Wisconsin Notes: Wisconsin had the #6 D in the country last year but lost 5 of its top 7 tacklers, including defensive leader Chris Borland. And despite the impressive ranking, Wisconsin gave up 30 pts to major conference OOC opponents. Offensively it will be the Melvin Gordon show behind a veteran line, Gordon is a potential Heisman candidate. -Pick: LSU to cover. This is a bad matchup for a one-dimensional Wisconsin offense, and their D won't hold up against LSU's attack. 3. No. 16 Clemson at No. 14 Georgia, Saturday, 5:30PM EST, ESPN -Georgia favored by 7.5 -Clemson Notes: Clemson had the #24 defense last year, and it will be even better this year with a lethal front 7, with 4 defensive lineman racking up double digit TFL last year that returned. Clemson is led by DE stud Vic Beasley. Offensively, Clemson is rebuilding as its stars over the years have moved on to the NFL. -Georgia Notes: Georgai has arguably the best pair of RBs in the nation, but gone is leader Andrew Murray. Last year Georgia was an injury plagued team that was put together with Murray's gum and toothpicks. Pick: Clemson to cover. Clemson's front 7 is going to be put to the test as Gurley embarrassed them last year. However without Murray, expect Clemson to commit fully to the run and stack the box

Sure is... So tired of losing to ASU every year. This would be that next step for us to show we've arrived. Going to be very tough, but we have a shot.

Defense will be fine, but QB and now WR are a problem. Dres Anderson was just diagnosed with a season ending knee injury, which really hurts. Gonna run, and run a lot I predict. Devontae Booker is a beast.

Yeah Kelly is playing.

Only player out is our LG. A few other players out but they weren't starters.

This TCU v WVU Game is/was really really good. Very defensive first half that opened up nicely in the second. Tons of turnovers and just a really fun game.

Refs just fcked up a huge play

FSU should be #1 IMHO but neither team is that strong. Miss St is a classic default top ranked team that is ranked high bc they are undefeated. They will plummet once they lose.

I hate our OC. 3rd and long and we run it 4 times. 3rd and 3 and we pass. I mean this team would be damn good if we called some creative pass calls, but Christensen like our offense dead last in passing.

I think Miss St has faced tougher tests than FSU has to date and thus are a little more deserving of being ranked number 1.

I think you guys should have done more option runs, its crazy how effective our CB blitzes were, I feel like we did it on 1/3 of plays. Your QB is a tough gutsy guy, but not a good passer.

On to Notre Dame!!! Should be a darkhorse elimination game. I don't know what the line is, but I'd put Notre Dame at -9. I think the Irish should be a strong favorite. Our passing game has struggled since the return of Kelly and Golson is playing great.

EG is still prone to boneheaded mistakes that result in TO's. Folston is finally shining and running like a boss though, hope they continue to feed the kid.

lolwat? ASU is favored by 2, and that sounds fair to me.

I don't feel confident about the game. I mean we do have the Stanford comparison, and we did better against Stanford than Notre Dame did.

But Kelly has just not played well the last 2 games.
