Well the defense isn't star studded.

Well the defense isn't star studded.

Starters: Sergio Ramos, Marcelo, Pepe, Carvajal
Bench: Varane, Arbeloa

All excellent defenders. They're much better than anything Real Sociodad or most clubs can throw at them.

James Rodriguez, Modric, Kroos, Isco all starting in mid-field...? lol...ouch. That'll leave your defense feeling a bit exposed.

That Everton v Chelsea match on Saturday was entertaining. Felt bad for Timmy though.

It was. Chelsea look scary with the addition of Cesc and Costa. They have the type of team that wins Champions league.

Real Madrid loses again

Neymar scores 2 late goals (both assisted by Messi) to give Barca the win against Bilbao.

Messi made it easy for Neymar with those passes. For as good as Munir looked, the team just went into another gear when Neymar came in. The Messi/Neymar combo is lethal. Hopefully Suarez fits in well. Pedro selected a horrible time to show bad form.

Mathieu has looked good so far. I want to see him play with Bartra. However, I think the biggest reason for no goals allowed through 3 games is the way they are pressing on defense. Rakitic has been outstanding on offense and pressing to regain the ball.

I find myself rooting for ManU on the BPL now. They have 2 of my favorite players in DiMaria and Falcao and I was very impressed with Marcos Rojo on the WC.

I agree, always disliked Man U, but with Falcao (my favorite soccer player) and DiMaria, it's making it hard to dislike them now.

I didn't get to watch the game, but it looks like the Bayern V Man City game was a thriller. Last minute goal ftw for Bayern
