The last three f***ing years in no particular order
The above videos are auto-populated by an affiliate.
in the past four years in order of disappointment:

2010 NBA Finals, Game 7 -- took me about 3 hours to fall asleep (grew up overseas so had my choice of teams)
2013 SuperBowl, so close and yet so far, and then my poor lil dog passed away a few weeks later :(
2014 NFCCG, it stung even more when Denver was shellacked. Effin Broncos.
2011 NFCCG, was more like, ok, s**t happens, we still have an effin bright future.

That was it for me also. I expected that era's team to win every play-off game they played in, so all the loses hurt bad especially missing out on a chance to 3 peat. Our last 3 seasons ended rough, but with our current offense being less than stellar I don't have the high expectations I did of the teams led by Montana and Young, so the loses don't seem to sting as bad now as they did in the glory days.

my sentiments exactly, yeah it has been weird the last few years with the Niners being contenders but still so weak in one area. These days once I am through being critical of the Niners I simply need to remind myself of how ALL teams having glaring weaknesses now then their chances don't appear so bleak, and voila you got 3 straight championship appearances. Being a fan in each era, I can confidently say NFL parity is not a good thing. Each season produces about half a dozen teams who have nearly the same chance of winning it all, and each for different reasons.

With that in mind....
1. The Fumble (We would have been the only team to ever win a NFL 3 peat, and that accomplishment could have held for eons)
2. All 90's losses to Packers
3. The rest of the playoff losses in the 80's and 90's
4. Getting swept in the Earthquake series
5. Game 6 WS against the Angels
6. Game 7 WS against the Angels
7. NFCCG against the Seahawks their fans and the zebras
8. NFCCG against the Giants(I don't blame Kyle Williams because he should have been benched by that point, and the inept offense once again sucked all day)
9. SB loss against the Ravens(its criminal not giving Gore the ball once there, and the crime would be repeated the next year)
10. Pacquiao getting KO'd by Marquez/Tyson getting KO'd by Robin Givens
Back then I was a big boxing fan and partial to heavyweights. Born in 1961 and a sports fan starting at a young age I was witness to the 70's the greatest era of talent in the heavyweight division. No such thing as pay per view or closed circuit TV. Ali-Frazier was on ABC on Friday night. While the 70's was full of talent other than Tyson most of the top 10 ranked heavyweight fighters in the 80's would not have been ranked in the top 10 in the 70's. Tyson not only wasn't as good as advertised dominating a bunch of bums, he wasn't exactly a model citizen either. When Douglas beat Tyson only 49er Super Bowl wins had made me happier up to that time. I hated him almost as much as the Dallas Cowboys! I still remember jumping up and spilling beer all over my sister when Tyson hit the canvas for the first time.
It wasnt for me, but when Dale Earnhardt died in Daytona, NASCAR fans were crushed. That dude had a cult like following, made Tiger and Jordan type money.

Those pictures represent years of bitter sports memories. As the dust has settled... Forward progress really sticks out in my mind just as much as Kyle's moronic plays.

Also wanted to add on to the Hurricanes in the Ken Dorsey years; they were robbed in 2002, but also in 2000 when the BCS picked FSU over Miami despite Miami beating FSU in the season. I'll never forget the beating Miami put on Washington in 2001 for revenge following the loss to them the year before.

Being from South Africa this was probably the moment that I became a sports fanatic.
Besides the typical 49ers of the last 3 years...

2003... SF Giants vs Marlins.. JT Snow rounding 3rd.. I remember jumping up and down on my couch.

He tries to run over Pudge Rodriguez... he's out.. I fell to the ground and cried my eyes out for about 5 minutes
Just saw Stuart Scott's speech during the ESPY's. I did not know he was battling with cancer. Apparently he was very close to passing away within the past 10 days. Man!

These last 3 years have been tough for the Niners, but for me it had to be the 2012 national championship. I was so pumped just for the Irish to get blasted on national tv, a month later the Niners lost the Super Bowl the loss to the Seahawks would be 2nd. That one put me into a mini depression.
Also . . . the last SF Giants game of the 1993 season. 103 wins and no playoffs because Solomon Torres sucked
