In a real life example, I've played against women that played Division 1 college hockey. They couldn't even make a Club hockey team.
As far as Venus, she has played a man, Karsten Braasch who was a major scrub tennis player not even ranked in top 200. He easily beat both Williams sisters.
Serena has even said that if she played Andy Murray, she would be lucky to get a single point.
