Congrats to both teams. We knew it would come down to those two for the gold. Could have gone either way. Canada got a pretty lucky goal on the first one. The bounce of a USA player into the net.

thats hockey though, theres weird bounces and re-directions. just like a fumble in football, you never know which way its bouncing. aside from that i dont care if its only 2 teams in womens hockey no way can they bouce womens hockey after a game like that.

Are they thinking of bouncing it from the Olympics? Cause of lack of competition?

That would be a shame. Was a fun game to watch.

There's at least a dozen other events that should get canned before women's hockey

This

They are talking about football in the Olympics in 2024. If they are concerned about the level of competition in the hockey wait until they do that. You could field 8 USA teams with HS players and they would all run through the rest of the teams with little to no resistance.

Yeah I remember in 1998 I saw the women play and thought they looked awful in terms of hockey, like a beer league game. Fast forward and women's hockey has come a long way. It was an entertaining game, good hockey out there.

I'd compare it to Division 3 college hockey as far as skill goes. Which is impressive IMO.
Lol I was watching the Nordic team event earlier

Course temperature- 61

Supposively there are wolves or at least wild dogs roaming the halls of the Soichi Hotel. This was taken by luger Kate Hansen.
