I've just noticed that the guys that try to guard him tight when Randle starts his drive on the perimeter he's muscles past them quite easily. I mean there's really only a handful of guys that will be able to guard him on the drive when he's fully developed. What defenders will do is stay a couple of steps off him and wait for him to start his drive then just try to manipulate his angle to the basket especially the ones who don't have the athleticism/strength combination to play tight on him. If he can develop that jumper when his guy shuffles back and sets for his drive he will be a beast. That's the difference between him being good and him being an all star.

I also like that he's able to avoid offensive fouls around the basket when he finishes. Guys that big usually cant sidestep defenders trying to take charges, but he seemingly is able to do that and finish. I'd expect more and-1s than charging fouls, which is another sign of a really good player.

would love for that to happen, just don't know how likely it is. he's said it millions of times already that he isn't leaving kentucky. i know, i know, and coaches also said the same thing millions of times, and the next day ended up leaving lol.
you don't bring in five 17 year olds every year and go as deep as he does all the time in the tourney without being a hell of a coach.

Not to make this into a CBB discussion, but those 17 year olds he is bringing in from a talent perspective are the cream of the crop. I don't need to get into the difference between CBB and NBA, but outside of Larry Brown few legendary college coaches make that jump (successfully). There is a reason they stay in college (Coach K, Calhoun, Boehiem, Pitino, Tubby, Roy). Not a slight, just different style. I don't want to be Calipari's experiment before he jets right back down to UK, (Nick Saban Miami Dolphins, Billy Donovan Magic)

Not a fan of it either. I do like it as a fan to buy and wear, but players should be wearing traditional jerseys.
