Just saw this and found it interesting. Especially coming off the worst season in franchise history. lol

According to a Grantland article posted today by Zach Lowe, the Lakers made $100.1 million this year in profit. And this is after contributing a league high $49 million into revenue sharing. This made the Lakers the most profitable franchise in the league this year, easily surpassing the Bulls ($61M), Rockets ($40.7M), Celtics ($33.1M) and Thunder ($29M).

Jazz were surprisingly 7th.

Really? Holy s**t! lol

Isaiah Thomas has received interest from the Boston Celtics, Dallas Mavericks, Golden State Warriors, Miami Heat, Detroit Pistons and Phoenix Suns.

Thomas is a restricted free agent, giving the Sacramento Kings the ability to match any offer sheet or execute a sign-and-trade.

Yes! With Dragic, Bledose, Ish Smith, Tyler Ennis and Isiah Thomas, we could sport the NBA's first all 5 Starting Point Guard Line-up!

The Jazz still have the same loyal fans. They just get forgotten when theres no playoffs at the Delta Center. (I refuse to call it anything else).

That's boss. When I was in SLC for 10 weeks I went to a random regular season game and the fans were more passionate than I expected. Also probably the classiest fan base ever lolz.

Damn! I'm sure the Russian Billionaire is non too pleased about it. I read somewhere the next team with a loss, lost like $13 mil. That's a wide fuggin' gap.
Jodie Meeks has agreed to a three-year, $19 million contract with the Detroit Pistons. Meeks represents the first signing since Stan Van Gundy took over basketball operations.

Does anybody believe carmello can be the guy to put a team over the top? It's hard to see him on a championship winning team. And WTF is going on with the lakers? Coach? Players? anything???

Well that was quick. Not a bad deal. He's a good player they couldn't afford to lose, but it's going to suck paying him $12 mil per year when he's 34-35 y/o.
