Yeah, that one was my favorite. NBA mean tweets #1 with Deandre Jordan was awesome too.

Wish they were more like they old ones but they're still pretty sweet.

The National Basketball Association is moving its logo patch to the back of team jerseys next season, citing stylistic reasons, the league said.

The logo, which depicts a player dribbling with his left hand, had been on the front of both uniform jerseys and shorts.

The switch comes as league owners ponder whether to put advertisements on uniforms for the first time. NBA Commissioner Adam Silver this year said uniform ads, which are common elsewhere in the world, are inevitable. Last year, he said it would probably happen within five years.

The league first considered uniform ads in 2012, when owners during their annual meeting were shown mockups on jersey-clad mannequins. Included in the presentation was an examination of how other sports leagues profited from the revenue stream.

The NBA’s teams collectively may reap about $100 million annually in revenue from jersey ads, the league has said.

Danny Granger and Glen Davis plan to opt out of their contracts for next season with the Los Angeles Clippers

Davis was slated to earn $1.4 million while Granger was scheduled to receive $1.36 million.

Granger likes the Clippers' winning culture and is hopeful to re-sign if he and the team can reach terms on a new deal. Davis is expected to test the free agency market.

The Brooklyn Nets are in talks to swap Marcus Thornton for Jarrett Jack of the Cleveland Cavaliers, according to sources.

The Nets have targeted Jack to improve their depth at point guard. Thornton has one season left on his contract while Jack has two guaranteed years remaining plus a partially guaranteed deal for the 2016-17 season.

The Nets are fearful that Shaun Livingston will receive a too rich contract from another team in free agency. Brooklyn can offer Livingston as much as a three-year, $10 million contract.
