Much respect to coach Wilcox, ran a very well program that just couldn't crack past the 6-7 win mark. Repeated issues on the field a past few seasons. I hope he lands a job at another program, very good dude.

Got the sense it could have been handled better with tedford, but from my understanding, guys loved Lupoi.

He's got the coaching background now and is still a good recruiter.

Wilcox got this program stable, time to take the next steps.

meh, its week 1. Realistically if he can get to a bowl game with a 7-5 record, its a massive win for Cal. He's a 1st year HC. Year 1 will be growing pains and recruitment.

You went up against Bob Chesney. Probably the best off-season hire. The guy crushes it everywhere he goes.
