One of the best Kings stories is Buddy Hield imo. Amazing what the right opportunity does for you in life. Dude is on a nice upward trajectory, and when he was traded to the Kings some were already labeling him a bust. And almost everyone thought the Kings got hosed in that exchange. That trade keeps looking better as time goes on though (after Cousins got injured in particular), and the Pels draft pick they got turned into two players if I remember right (Jackson and Giles I think?). Not sure Hield will ever be a perennial all star type of player, but I would say he's no more than a level or two down from the top tier and this point, and he is still climbing. No question he is an integral piece of what the Kings are building, and is showing he is a go to type of player in the clutch.
In the West, he's the 4th best SG. Behind Harden, Kay, and derozan. I would choose him over McCollum. Dude has really felt comfortable this year. High character guy also
You think he's better than Booker?
