If we traded Pence I hope get something good, liked him a lot.
Someone must have asked Hank Schulman if Belt would be optioned back to Fresno. He says it's doubtful.

Considering that would be borderline retarded behavior, I'd hope not. He's had a rough stretch but is 4th on the team in OPS and OBP and 3rd in SLG (amongst qualifying AB's). Hardly the problem. However, be prepared for a lot of platooning at 1B.

UNLEASH THE KIESCH!

Hope that dude comes up and plays well, I'd love him on the big club next year.

No reason to.

Anyone think they should move the fences in? I think it's pretty s**tty that a 420 ft fly ball is an out in our park... kinda sucks IMO.

Confirmed: Brett Pill, Roger Kieschnick have been removed from roster at Triple-A Fresno. More likely they are being promoted than dealt.

Definitely interested in seeing Kieschnick at the major league level. Pill's promotion was WAY overdue as he has nothing left to prove at AAA and is either going to play for the big club permanently or go somewhere else.

if they are going to do it in RCF, they need to in LCF as well... 400+FT in LCF.

I agree that sending Belt down would just be stupid at this point. Just give him at bats every day and then evaluate him at the end of the year. As for Kieschnick.. very happy to see him finally get a call up. Anything is better than Tanaka, Torres, or Peguero. Lets see what he can do.

Shut up Garcia

I'm sure I'm in the minority opinion here, but I like the advantage that the park gives us. So far, it's netted us 3 WS appearances and 2 rings in the last 11 years, so I'm not overly interested in changing things too much. And yes, this current product on the field is terrible to watch, but they put almost the same guys out there last year and they freakin put on a show every night!

When it works, it works beautifully and results in playoff appearances and championships....when it's bad, it's a train wreck to watch. So I take the good with the bad.
I agree ghost, see post 46091

you think the park dimensions really have that big of a role in what got us championships?
