Any word on how Gary Brown is doing in Spring Training?

From the games I've seen he looks a little overmatched but he's only had 7 AB's so far.

I would be shocked to see him not start the season in Fresno.

You really see Brown repeating AA? I can't see that at all.

Fresno is AAA

lol, i realize that. The way you worded it gave me a confuse..."to see him NOT start the season in Fresno." Thought you meant he looked so bad that he wouldn't even be starting the season in AAA.

I got that after I responded. I'm thinking it's at least 90% probability he starts in Fresno unless he miraculously turns into Mike Trout during ST.

"The MVP goes front and center."
"TEMPE, Ariz. – In what could be a prelude to an extension for GM Brian Sabean and manager Bruce Bochy, the Giants announced promotions for four senior members of their baseball operations staff.

Vice presidents Dick Tidrow and Bobby Evans will add the title of assistant general manager title to their business cards.

Special assistant John Barr, who has been the club's de facto amateur scouting director for the past five seasons, received the official title of Vice President and Assistant GM, Scouting and International Operations.

And Jeremy Shelley, the senior director of baseball operations and pro scouting, was promoted to Vice President, Pro Scouting and Player Evaluation."

Nice to see the guys behind the scenes getting the credit they deserve with promotions. Barr and Tidrow especially. Barr is the guy responsible for drafting Buster Posey.

Agreed, well deserved promotions.

Belt 2-3 with a homer today, GB got a hit filling in at leadoff.

look at the stats last night. both arent having a great spring, Good to see them start hitting.

Peguero is doing well. And Kleisheck or whatever is doing ok.

your fascination with Peguero will let you down.

I just dont see the guy as anything more than a 5th OF ever. He has good defensive skills and some speed but thats about it.
That Men's Health issue apparently will have one cover for each athlete with the fourth being that one group shot. Here's Buster's solo:
