After Kobe, who will be the next Laker's superstar... Who can we target, college or current NBA player?

Chris Paul

thought he signed his extension with lob city?

can't fault ron artest for that pass, kobe looked tired and wasn't very open, nobody else except pau was moving. So fing throw it to the open guy.

was kinda disappointed to see Kobe start complaining right after Blake's shot instead of trying to foul the OKC player. Lakers got the ball back with .03 left

I totally agree, you aren't supposed to visibly show your frustration (in the teamates pass, or in the missed shot) Blake is already a streaky shooter, kobe showing a lack of faith in the man might make him miss more.

(and yeah he should have fouled and saved some time.)

Positives from the game:

Artest Shut down Durant
Pau finally looked a little bit like the pau of 08.
Bynum was a beast for one half, then brick city the next.

They need to get the next breed of superstars. Dynasties aren't made by being loyal ask Bill Walsh.

I feel you man... but I don't think it's time to deal him in the offseason. I don't think you really do also. You're probably just frustrated from last night's game. He just needs to learn to possibly tone it down during some games if he isn't feeling it. (of course that will probably never happen)

I trust the Lakers to do what they've been doing for 60 years. Reload and win again. They don't need to fall on the philosophies of a football coach from the 80's.

i think stern green lights a lebron trade to lakers for some popcorn

of course after dwight howard as signed
It will be interesting to see what adjustments OKC makes to the Lakers Game 2 strategy. LA did the usual getting Kobe off the ball so he can float around. That disrupted OKC penetration. Kobe's man needs to cut to the basket the moment Kobe veers away from him.

Sefolosha has been doing a solid job on Kobe, especially when Kobe posts. Sefolosha showing strength and not being moved from his spot. This combine with being 6'7" allows him to crowd Kobe without worrying about having to jump to disrupt the shot.

Kobe getting old??

Yes, Kobe is getting old. Just like every single living creature on this planet is.
