2011-12 Los Angeles Lakers Thread

Like i said, if he was actually crazy he would have decked Wallace but he didn't bc he was scared and a truly crazy mofo is not scared of anything, hence crazy. It's all calculated drama.

Btw when he ran into the stands it looked like he didn't even know what to do in a fight. Reminded me when Jordan and Reggie Miller got into it and they scratched each other instead of brawling with fists. Stephen Jackson sure knew what to do.

He dipped Glenn Robinson. He didn't look too afraid of Serge Ibaka. I don't know I'd say the dude is pretty crazy/tough. He's one of the strongest guys in the NBA. Pretty sure he could handle his own.
Harden started it and I hate the lakers. All Artest did was wrongfully finish it. You don't invade space like that on a dead ball. It happens to Kobe while in play but dead balls are a different story. Hardin was stirring s**t up like Zimmerman and Artest got pissed.

And I really like Hardin and hate the Lakers and Hardins sly little instigation should be taken into account for the ruling.

He may have embellished the reaction, too. If you're concussed, do you look up at the refs, checking to see if it worked?

Lol I can't believe how anyone can stick up for this guy. The guy is an embarrassment for the sport and league

What do you expect from Laker fans?

Yeah, clearly he was faking. him sitting out the rest of a crucial game and most likely missing time is all part of his master plan to screw MWP and the Lakers.

You'll have to excuse my friend Stoney, he's a little slow...the town is back THAT way!

The doctors were clearly in on the shenanigans too by diagnosing the concussion...and eyes are often open after a concussion and roll to the back of your head as it looks like Harden's are about to...

Yeah he looked real tough against Serge when Serge was being held back and didn't even have his hands in a fighting position, oh yeah and he was also not even in arms reach of Artest.

Was Artest back pedaling as well?

Real tough, excuse me while I take my Laker glasses off.

Artest was considered to be an NBA tough guy long before he joined the Lakers, blizz.

Hah all good, and yes, Harden was most certainly concussed.

He is a tough defender, always has been.

Not a fan of his last cheap shot and people correlating it with being tough. That is where I disagree.

Oh, I totally agree with you there.

Personally, I think this was just a factor of him being nuts. He has a tendency to get so wrapped up in the moment that I don't think he's entirely aware of what's going on around him or what he's doing. It's still completely unacceptable and he deserves to be punished severely IMO, but I don't think it was "intentional" in the same way that it is for a sane person.

Harden may have been trying to get under his skin, but that sort of chickenfighting/gamesmanship happens dozens of times every game and it's part of the sport. Harden did nothing wrong, IMO.
